When it comes to illustrating a children's book. I first present a contract to the client and secure a 50% down deposit to get the project started. My first process is to complete character designs for the clients approval. Then I work on the storyboards and rough pencil sketches. Once those are approved by the client. I move on to creating inked illustrations. Once the inked illustrations are also approved by the client. I scan the inked illustrations into Adobe Photoshop cc to add color to them. I then present the final illustrations to the client for approval. Once the final illustrations are approved. The client makes the final payment for the completion of the project. I then assist the client with getting their children's book published.
